Hawaiian monk seal

After decades of decline, the population of this endangered seal species is its highest in more than 20 years.

Kekoa, an endangered Hawaiian monk seal, will now live at the Oʻahu attraction—and you can visit him starting in October.

Formerly known as L4, this male monk seal was born during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Just because you shouldn’t get close to them doesn’t mean you can’t get to know them.
